Flea Market Day

'Flea Market' Day today. Or what in England we would call a 'Car Boot Sale'. Although in fact there are neither fleas nor car boots invoved the process. All the produces got laid out on tables or the floor.
For the past few years Edera has put on this event for the kids in July. They all bring their junk - sorry! merchandise - and sell it to each other. In theory this should all be done in English of course and I did put a few of them on the spot today by asking the price of some items in a perfect cut-glass Oxford accent. Meantime, Edera is busy in the kitchen and then I go and hide in my shed and run a few trains around the garden to bring pleasure to those cute little faces pressed against the window pane. Hmm ....
It was a good day but a combination of fewer Junior High students (and therefore mums) and also it being a weekday made the event not so well attended as last year. But more than enough for Tora as you can see - he vanished into a carrier bag under the table to stay out of trouble. Wise pussy cat.
